How we source research

The Hopeful Body turns AI medical research into plain-language, carefully-caveated summaries for people who want to understand where the field is moving without needing a technical background.

Sources we prefer

We favor peer-reviewed papers, registered studies, and reputable public research records. Each article keeps links to the underlying source material so readers can check where the summary came from.

AI-assisted and human-reviewed

Drafts may be AI-assisted, but they are reviewed by Damon Bodine before publishing. Nothing is auto-published, and the goal is to make the work clearer without making the findings sound more certain than they are.

What the research does not prove yet

Research summaries include a plain-English caveat explaining what the study does not prove yet. This matters because early AI research can be promising without being ready for broad clinical use.

What this site is not

The Hopeful Body is general information and education. It is not medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, or a substitute for a qualified clinician.
